Following an oversight at Los Medanos College where 162 grades were incorrectly marked as F's, district officials have implemented a policy to prevent this from happening again. Grades marked "Incomplete" at the Pittsburg campus from 2004-06 were automatically switched to F's, although many were supposed to be manually marked higher, LMC Admissions and Records Director John Mullen said.

Charlene Davis, Founders Commons manager and employee of Mills College for 26 years was recently fired by Bon Appetit, the new campus food vendor.
She is one of many people who have either been laid off or quit this school year.
Davis, who began her employment with Mills in 1981, was "involuntarily terminated" due to "violation of the company's Hostile Work Environment Policy," according to an April 22 memo.
