The Nevada Wolf Pack scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning on Sunday to earn their second walk-off win in as many days, besting the Sacramento State baseball team 13-12. The Wolf Pack scored two runs in the ninth inning of the first game of Saturday's doubleheader to beat the Hornets 8-7.

Sac State junior Jeff Roth (2-4) was the losing pitcher in both games. After allowing back-to-back RBI singles in Saturday's first-game loss, he gave up a three-run home run to Shaun Kort, his second long ball of the game. Kort now has six home runs on the season as he was 3 for 5 at the dish with six RBI and two runs scored in the game.

Hornet senior David Flores hit two home runs in four at-bats and had three runs driven in. Flores now has seven home runs this season.

Senior Wes Oberlin and Sophomore Tim Wheeler also hit home runs for the Hornets - it was Oberlin's 12th and Wheeler's third of the season.

In a game that saw 25 runs on 31 hits, the Hornets led the majority of the game. Sac State led 6-2 after the first three innings, 9-7 after six and was up 12-9 heading into the final frame.

The Wolf Pack move to 18-10 inside the WAC (31-21 overall) and sit in second position in the standings. The Hornets drop their conference record to 12-15 (21-30 overall) and are in sixth place in the WAC.

The Hornets will host Fresno State in a four-game set this coming weekend starting at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Hornet Field.
