Sacramento State's Educational Opportunity Program celebrated its 40th year of existence on campus this Monday.
The program is designed to create opportunities for young Californians from low-income households to continue their education.
In honor of the anniversary, the program hosted a soiree at Serna Plaza. Students, faculty and staff were welcome to food and were entertained by local retro funk act, Funkengruven.
